Your day at NTT DATA

As an Investment Manager in NTT GDC APAC, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and executing investment opportunities related to real estate and digital infrastructure. Your analytical prowess, financial expertise, and market insights will significantly contribute to the success of our investment initiatives.

What you'll be doing

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage site acquisition from land identification to pre‑construction of Data Centers, including hands on site development works on power, water, fiber etc.
• Establish development risks and remedies.
• Work closely with external parties, including land owners, Government Authorities to ensure the site meets the Data Center requirements.
• Closely interact with other NTT business functions while being part of the Investment Team
• Provide extensive analysis on potential investments, including in‑depth financial modelling
• Manage the due diligence process, including overseeing legal, tax, and commercial diligence advisors
• Learn and follow the dynamics of the Data Centers & digital infrastructure sectors
• Build relationships with country teams, as well as external advisors and industry experts
• Identify attractive investment themes and opportunities
• Gather and synthesize industry and market data
• Review agreements and contracts related to acquisitions
• Draft and present oral and written materials to management
• Develop and support operational initiatives within portfolio
• Cultivate and manage relationships with investors, brokers, consultants, and financial institutions in the real estate and technology sectors.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• 5‑10 years of professional experience, preferably in a leading DC operator or Hyperscale.
• First‑hand experience of the real estate transaction process.
• Demonstrable network of real estate developers, land owners and brokers/intermediaries across APAC.
