Job summary

A leading interior design firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced Interior Designer. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design, particularly within the retail or residential sectors. Key responsibilities include conducting client consultations, developing design solutions, and preparing detailed proposals. Proficiency in design software such as 3D Max, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Photoshop is mandatory. This role offers opportunities for creativity and impactful client interactions.

Qualifications

Actively propose and sell the company's full range of furniture, furnishings, and design services, meeting or exceeding individual sales targets.

Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including materials, dimensions, and customisation options.

Develop compelling and functional design solutions, focusing on effective space planning and furniture arrangement.

Produce professional visual documentation for clients, including 2D layouts, floor plans, and 3D renderings.

Prepare complete design proposals (mood boards, materials, finishes, and product selections).

Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and functional requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience (min 3 years) in interior design, ideally within the retail or residential furniture sector.
