Job summary

Position Responsibilities

In your role, you will:

  • Perform the removal & reinstall of aircraft interiors, equipment and furnishings as per work orders and/or customer requests
  • Fully support Cabin Interior work requirements as necessary
  • Perform and clearly document all work undertaken per appropriate company procedures and appropriate manuals as required
  • Ensure good housekeeping polices for all removed components/equipment by ensuring they are always adequately protected/ labeled and stored securely
  • Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and/or Hanger positions)
  • Comply with environmental health/safety policies/procedures
  • Participate in 5-S activities
  • Perform work in a safe and timely manner
  • Assist with any additional work on AOG and/or unscheduled maintenance aircraft within the facility
  • Clean aircraft interiors as required
  • Attend meetings as necessary
Qualifications
  • You’ll typically have 5 years Cabin Interiors experience covering several different disciplines related to aircraft interiors or other high-end industry products
  • Have served a recognized engineering apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Be a methodical thinker, be able to handle broad range of technical/specialist work in own professional area
  • Be able to work in a pressurized environment and to tight deadlines
  • You can demonstrate the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
  • You can demonstrate mechanical aptitude and understand Service bulletins and other technical documentation
  • You can demonstrate the ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft project status
  • You have Basic PC skills and the ability to use MS word, excel etc.
  • Have corporate experience within aircraft interiors or related industry
