Job summary

A leading HSE management firm in Singapore seeks an experienced HSE Manager to design and implement standardized Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems. The role involves monitoring key data, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading a team to develop organizational capabilities. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in related fields and at least 5 years of managerial experience in HSE. Certifications as a Fire Safety Manager and a Registered Workplace Health and Safety Officer are necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental managerial role.
• Certified Fire Safety Manager required.
• Registered Workplace Health and Safety Officer with Ministry of Manpower required.

Job Description

• Design, develop and implement a standardized HSE Management Systems across both Divisional businesses with the area of jurisdiction.
• Review, monitor and report key data for monthly HSE activities.
• Manage HSE Reporting Systems to ensure accuracy of data and timeliness of reporting.
• Ensure HSE Management Systems are aligned with the relevant regulatory authority and Divisional/Group policies and procedures.
• Participate in internal compliance auditing processes including development and implementation of corrective actions.
• Provide monthly and quarterly reports as required.
• Review and analyse data to develop corrective/preventative actions and programs to mitigate HSE risk.
• Lead, develop and supervise direct reports.
• Develop talent, build organizational capability and deliver tangible business results. i.e. coach, mentor, our people to meet HSE expectations.
• Provide technical support for internal audits and incident investigations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Health, Safety or Environmental discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Health, Safety and Environmental managerial role
