Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is seeking an Assistant / Deputy Manager, Human Resource (Workforce Planning) to support workforce forecasting and digitalisation efforts. You will partner with business units to forecast needs, analyze trends, and propose interventions while developing workforce analytics and dashboards to enhance decision-making.

This role requires familiarity with Excel and Power BI, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to work across levels.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in digitalisation or automation tools, preferably in Data Science, Business Analytics or related fields.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI or other digital tools, with strong analytical skills to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented and a team player who can build rapport across all levels.
• Good communication, written and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of HR operations; experience in HR planning would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Partner business units to forecast workforce requirements aligned with organisational priorities using workforce analytics and manpower planning models.
• Analyse workforce demand, supply, capacity and capability trends to identify gaps and propose interventions.
• Evaluate manpower requirements for new initiatives and growth areas, assessing budget and downstream implications.
• Review workforce movements against plans and propose course-correction actions when needed.
• Support workforce establishment management, including headcount tracking.
• Assist quarterly billing for manpower projects, monitoring actual vs. budgeted amounts.
• Develop and maintain workforce analytics, dashboards and reports to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Support HR digital transformation efforts, identifying processes to redesign and exploring new technologies including RPA, paperless, and chatbot solutions.
