Job summary

Inter Island Group Pte Ltd. is seeking an onboarding and HR operations professional responsible for coordinating pre-onboarding and Day 1 activities.

You will guide new employees through HR processes and policies while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with Work Permit/ Employment Pass matters. The role requires maintaining meticulous employee records, handling lifecycle events, and supporting HR system improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Entry-level with internship experience welcome to apply.
• Experience in onboarding, lifecycle management and HR system transactions.
• Hands-on Work Permit/Employment Pass administration and compliance.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-onboarding and Day 1 onboarding activities with accurate and timely arrangements.
• Conduct onboarding briefings, guiding employees on HR processes and policies.
• Handle Work Permit and Employment Pass applications, renewals, transfers and cancellations.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Manage lifecycle activities: transfers, contract extensions and offboarding.
• Monitor HR cases and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve them promptly.
• Liaise with employees and departments on HR operational enquiries.
• Provide guidance on HR processes and systems to staff.
• Ensure data accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Support HR process improvements and system enhancements.
