Job summary

POWEN ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced HR professional in Singapore to manage recruitment, onboarding, and full HR administration.

The role includes handling work pass matters, maintaining confidential records, coordinating training, and supporting wellness initiatives within a construction-focused environment. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in HR, at least 4 years of local HR experience, and solid knowledge of Singapore Employment Act.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent.
• At least 4 years HR experience in Singapore construction.
• Good understanding of the Employment Act and government regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive data.
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Able to facilitate recruitment and discuss current and expected salary during process.

Responsibilities

• Handle recruitment for staff and workers: sourcing, screening, onboarding.
• Maintain accurate HR records including hiring, termination, leave, and medical records.
• Manage work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations for foreign employees and dormitories.
• Administer staff training and coordinate training grants.
• Assist with employee wellness programs and company recreational events.
• Liaise with MOM and participate in statutory reporting or surveys as required.
• Perform other HR administrative tasks as assigned by Manager.

Responsibilities

• Handle recruitment process for staffs and workers by sourcing, screening candidates and ensures mooth onboard process to meet company staffing needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employment staff and worker records including hiring,termination, leave administration, medical records etc
• Manage work passapplications, renewals, and cancellations for foreign employees and dormitoryprocesses in compliance with regulatory requirements to maintain legalworkforce status.
• Administer staff andworker training as such coordinate training and grants etc
• Assist andcoordinate employee wellness program and company recreation events
• Liaise withgovernment authorities such as MOM and participate in statutory reporting orsurveys when required.
• All other HRadministrative as assigned by Manager or Management

Requirements :

• MinimumDiploma in Human Resources, or equivalent is preferred
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in the area of Human Resources in Singapore Construction industry
• Goodknowledge and interpretation of the employment Act and government regulations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive data
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
