Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR Officer to manage labor regulations and support administration. The role requires strong administrative skills, knowledge in labor laws, and fluency in Mandarin and English to communicate with Chinese employees. Responsibilities include payroll management, HR report preparation, and handling worker accommodations. Candidates should have at least one year of related experience and a WSQ certificate in HR or administration. Only Singapore citizens or PRs may apply.

Job description
HR OFFICER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Good knowledge in construction and process sectors Labor Law & Regulation, WP Application, Renewal & Cancellation.
  • Manage workers' Payroll using Excel, Familiar with MOM portal and HR various e-services, Strong administrative skills, able to work independently, multi‑tasks.
  • Preparation of HR reports to management, Lead, organize, maintain, and develop HR policies.
  • Handle company worker's accommodation such as dormitory rental contract, check in & out and all related matters.
  • Assist in purchasing, insurance, invoice verification, letter preparation, season parking.
  • Handle Dormitory from submitting invoice to Accounts and send check‑in check‑out to dorm in charge.
  • Support for government license application and renewal, ISO certification.
  • Ad-hoc duties assigned by Manager or Directors.

ADMIN ASSISTANT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Handle emails and record on Data entry accordingly.
  • Support administration assist for HR Executive.
  • Liaise with employees to resolve issues.
  • Handle and coordinate incoming items & help to sort them out & do labels to the requestor.
  • Maintenance of database. Documentation, filing work.
  • Provide basic administrative support to the other department.
  • Flight and hotel booking.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirement
  • At least one year related working experience.
  • WSQ certificate in HR or admin or above.
  • Mandarin and English are fluent, need to communicate with Chinese employees.
  • Singapore citizen or Singapore PR only.
