• Develop and execute the department’s underwriting strategy in line with business and financial objectives.
• Act as the technical authority for Engineering risks, providing guidance on complex cases and emerging exposures.
• Own and manage the performance of the Engineering portfolio, monitoring risk quality, pricing adequacy, and market trends.
• Underwrite complex, large-scale construction, erection, and engineering risks, delivering sustainable portfolio profitability and growth.
• Build and manage strong relationships with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions for high-value projects.
• Support product development and strategic initiatives to grow market share in large and complex engineering segments.
