Job description

We are seeking a seasoned, strategic, and entrepreneurial leader to join us as Head of Sales, ASEAN. Reporting directly to the Institutional Management Committee, this role oversees sales coverage and team leadership across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

The ideal candidate brings a strong command of major global markets, particularly the United States, China, and ASEAN, as well as a deep understanding of the buy-side client ecosystem in the region, including institutional investors and institutionalised family offices. While intermediate ASEAN market knowledge is acceptable, a commitment to continuous learning, market development, and thought leadership is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Coverage & Relationship Management: Engage regularly with institutional clients across ASEAN to understand needs, deliver value‑added solutions, and strengthen long‑term partnerships.
  • Research & Product Feedback: Provide actionable, constructive feedback to research teams to ensure content remains relevant, differentiated, and aligned with client priorities.
  • Business Development: Identify, cultivate, and expand corporate and investor relationships to unlock new business opportunities and enhance regional revenue growth.
  • Event & Roadshow Leadership: Lead planning and execution of roadshows, corporate access initiatives, and ECM‑related engagements for institutional sales clients.
  • Hong Kong / China Market Expertise (Preferred): Serve as the internal champion for Hong Kong and China market insights to support ASEAN clients, ideally backed by direct experience or subject‑matter expertise.
