Job description

The VP, Operations will be primarily responsible to ensuring the everyday execution of operations specifically manufacturing execution and overall supply chain, order management function.Working closely with Sales, Finance and Logistics, the VP Operationshas to ensure smooth coordination of efficient production of goods,ensuring overall operations are cost effective and ensuring processesare adhered to in order to ensure profitability and high customersatisfaction.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Developing, improving and implementing operations and production plans to meet company goals
• Managingthe day-to-day operations of every department, establishing companypolicies, implementing necessary changes and adhering to complianceprocedures, laws and regulations
• Evaluating overall company performance
• Providingall necessary reports, assisting management in goal setting andpromoting company growth and anticipating and forecasting trends andpatterns of the company and marketplace
• Managing finances, developing, monitoring and analysing the departmental and company budgets and financial reports
• Creating financial plans for increasing revenue margins
• Allocatingthe companys resources, materials and equipment to the most productivefunctions, supply chain and delivery management
• Creatingoperation strategies to minimise stock losses, implementing initiativesto reduce company costs and increasing employee productivity

YOUR ATTRIBUTES

• Education: University degree in Business, Management or similar
• Experience: 8+ years of related experience in Regional or International Operationswith a proven track record of managing manufacturing operations and.Ideal candidate should be results driven and customer focused.
• Demonstrate experience in developing strategic and diverse business plans including forecasting
• Outstanding analytical and problem solving with effective decision-making abilities
• Ability to use dashboards to drive performance measures, maximise company growth and asset development
• Strong leadership and communication skills for training and motivating teams, creating the vision for the future of the company
