Job summary

A leading ready-mix producer in Singapore seeks a Production Manager to supervise manufacturing operations while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in construction materials, strong leadership skills, and a diploma in Civil Engineering. Responsibilities include managing production processes, improving efficiencies, and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in construction/building materials, especially ready-mix concrete.
• Experience in managing Ready-Mix Batching Plants and ISO documentation.
• Knowledge of concrete technology and quality control.

Job description

To manage and supervise the production activities in related to Ready-Mix Operations on the followings :

Lead the manufacturing function within budget and output targets to meet customer requirements and standards.

Ensuring safety, product quality, cost and delivery requirements are met.

Excellent communicator who will oversee and manage the communication channel with customers, contractors, consultants and all level of staff.

Implement and manage continuous improvement by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.

Manage the team on best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading teams.

Oversees all of the elements required to produce a product, including the raw materials, machinery and equipment and personnel.

Manage and oversee QA/QC processes and documentation including all certification and approval.

Maintain good relationship with internal department & external clients.

Provide leadership and motivation to team on day-to-day operations.

Monitor the quantity and quality of products made to ensure that order deadlines are made and company production standards are maintained.

Develop more efficient methods of production to decrease waste and increase production capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Min. Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent

Good Industry-related experiences and operations management

• Preferably 5-year of relevant experience in the field of construction / building materials specializing in the manufacturing of ready-mix concrete, or its related products
• Good knowledge and working experience in managing Ready-Mix Batching Plants, products quality and well verse in ISO documentations
• Possess relevant knowledge and working experience in concrete technology and concrete quality control
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess Singapore class '3'driving license and own vehicle
