A healthcare staffing agency in Singapore seeks a Deputy Clinical Governance Officer / Clinical Governance Officer to provide clinical governance and technical oversight. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing training roadmaps for healthcare teams. Candidates should have a relevant healthcare qualification and experience in clinical governance and risk management. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply via email.
a) Organize, direct and coordinate medical, nursing and health services in compliance with the relevant government regulations and policies.
b) Supervise the nursing staff and oversee client care as well as administrative functions such as record keeping and budgeting.
c) Acts as the closest link between the Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP), nurses and management to ensure that all the Registered Nurses (RNs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Care Concierges (CCs) offer the best possible support to the RMP in providing care to clients. The support may include retrieving client information, observing the clients based on the Registered Medical Physician's instructions and providing the right diagnostic tools.
a) to provide clinical governance and technical oversight over the licensable healthcare service.
b) to assist the licensee in the day-to-day management of the clinical and technical aspects of the licensable healthcare services.
c) to ensure the implementation and regular review of policies and systems for clinical governance, clinical risk management, effective quality management systems and any other clinical and technical related matters, so as to detect and address in a timely manner any risks affecting the safety and welfare of, or the continuity of care provided to patients.
d) to ensure that any weakness or inadequacy related to any clinical or technical aspect of the licensable healthcare service is promptly identified and remedied, including informing the licensee of the weakness or inadequacy, and proposing and implementing measures to prevent the recurrence of the weakness or inadequacy.
e) to ensure that the licensee's personnel involved in the clinical or technical aspect of the licensable healthcare 13 S 1035/2021 service comply with the appropriate policies and processes concerning clinical and technical standards.
f) to ensure that there is close supervision, adequate training and regular competency assessments of the licensee's personnel involved in the clinical or technical aspect of the licensable healthcare service, to enable them to perform their work effectively and safely.
g) to immediately notify the licensee of any matter within the Clinical Governance Officer's purview that may affect compliance of any licence condition applicable to the licensable healthcare service.
