• Conducting appraisals: Perform detailed examinations of gold-based items to determine the purity, weight, and authenticity.
• Helping customers to make the right choice for them.
• Researching and evaluating pieces and materials.
• Valuing pieces and materials.
• Designing new pieces and building molds.
• Restoring old or broken pieces.
• Making new pieces.
• Cleaning and polishing jewelry.
• Keeping informed about changes in the industry.
• Test Methods: Make use of a range of test methods and equipment to evaluate the quality of gold, such as Acid tests, electronic testers, and density meters.
• Information: Accurately record appraisal details, such as purity, weight, and any distinctive marks or features.
• Customer service: Interact with clients professionally and in a friendly manner, answering their questions and concerns about the appraisal procedure.
• Market Information: Stay informed about the latest market trends, prices for gold, and regulations for the industry for accurate evaluations.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the team, such as sales associates and jewellers, to ensure smooth customer service and accurate pricing.
