Job summary

A civil engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to handle soil investigations and support project management. The role involves analyzing data from site boreholes and preparing geological reports. Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Identifying, collecting and recording soil samples and data from site borehole.
• To resolve all technical and non-technical issues.
• Assists Project Engineer/ Manager in planning programme of sequence of works.
• Review the field work/ site investigations proposed by the Consultant and make recommendations wherever required.
• Review and prepare geological reports as per requirement for different projects.
• To monitor site work, materials, plant & equipment.
• Support PD to analyze the claims, variations, extension of time etc.
• Support PD to check & verify the Contractor’s payment statements.
• Review the project interface in the implementation schedule submitted by the Consultant and suggest appropriate measures for correction.
• Assist PM for progress report preparation.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company.

Requirements

• Degree in Geology / Civil & Structural / Geotechnical Engineering
• Soil Investigation, Instrumentation & Monitoring, Geotechnical experience, fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
• Possess class 3 driving licence is an added
