Redstone Commodity Search are working with a well-established international shipping company that is expanding into the derivatives brokerage space looking for Fuel Oil Broker – Desk Head to join their team in Singapore.


Key Responsibilities


  • Build, lead, and manage the fuel oil brokerage desk, setting strategy and driving revenue growth.

  • Originate and execute trades across fuel oil products, maintaining strong relationships with counterparties including trading houses, oil majors, and shipping firms.

  • Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of brokers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.

  • Monitor market trends, client activity, and pricing developments to identify new commercial opportunities.

  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements across all trading and broking activity.


Key Qualifications / Experience


  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in broking or trading fuel oil products, with a strong track record of deal execution.

  • Deep understanding of the fuel oil market, including regional dynamics, pricing structures, and key counterparties.

  • Established client base across derivatives markets, with strong commercial instincts.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

  • Role is to be in Sinagpore
