Qualifications

• A Levels or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade or related discipline.
• Strong coordination and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or transportation operations.
• Familiarity with import/export procedures, freight documentation, and international shipping processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end Air Freight, Sea Freight, Neutral Freight, Cross-Trade, and Project Cargo shipments.
• Arrange bookings with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, warehouses, and overseas agents.
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely movement and compliance with customer requirements.
• Prepare and process shipping documents including Bills of Lading, air waybills, permits, invoices, packing lists, and customs docs.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, overseas partners, customs brokers, and service providers for smooth operations.
• Track shipment milestones and provide status updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Resolve operational issues, delays, and disruptions professionally and efficiently.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate shipment processing.
• Assist in handling project cargo movements and specialized logistics requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all activities.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and customer-focused Freight Operations Executive to join our dynamic freight forwarding team. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for logistics and supply chain operations, possessing hands-on experience in coordinating international freight movements across air, sea, neutral freight, and project shipments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day freight operations, ensuring the smooth execution of import, export, and cross-trade shipments while delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with customers, carriers, overseas agents, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless cargo movement and operational excellence.

Freight Operations

Requirements

Education

• A Levels or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, supply chain, or transportation operations.
• Experience handling Air Freight and/or Sea Freight operations.
• Familiarity with import/export procedures, freight documentation, customs requirements, and international shipping processes.
• Experience coordinating with carriers, agents, customers, and logistics service providers.
