Job summary

Talents@Work Pte Ltd (21C0501) in Changi is seeking an experienced airfreight import professional to manage end-to-end shipments and act as the primary customer contact. You will coordinate with airlines, customs, and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant delivery and billing.

Role requires hands-on airfreight import experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a proactive approach to issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience in airfreight import customer service or operations.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with multi-shipment handling capability.
• Hands-on CargoWise experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end airfreight import shipments, including arrival coordination, documentation, customs clearance, delivery arrangement, billing, and closure.
• Serve as main contact for customers on import enquiries, updates and resolution of issues.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, trucking partners, customs, and internal teams.
• Monitor shipment status to ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
• Resolve delays and documentation discrepancies proactively.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and supporting documents.
• Identify workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Support junior team members on import procedures and documentation (Senior role).
• Escalate unresolved operational issues to management and ensure follow-up.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-5.30pm & alternate Saturday 9am-1pm

Join a fast-paced logistics environment where you will manage end-to-end airfreight import shipments and play a key role in ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate service delivery for customers. This role is suitable for candidates with hands-on airfreight import experience who enjoy coordination work, problem-solving, and customer communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end airfreight import shipments, including arrival coordination, documentation, customs clearance, delivery arrangement, billing, and shipment closure
• Act as the main point of contact for customers on import shipment enquiries, updates, and issue resolution
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, trucking partners, customs authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
• Monitor shipment status and ensure compliance with internal procedures, SLAs, and KPIs
• Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and customs-related issues proactively
• Maintain accurate shipment records, reports, and supporting documentation
• Identify workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
• Support junior team members on import procedures and documentation where required (For Senior position)
• Escalate unresolved operational issues to management and ensure appropriate follow-up

Requirements

• Experience in airfreight import customer service or operations
• Good knowledge of end-to-end airfreight export processes, including documentation, customs requirements, and billing
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple shipments effectively
• Hands-on experience with CargoWise is an advantage
