Accountstaff (EA) is recruiting for a Singapore-based freight-forwarding role focused on growing the customer base and revenue. You will identify opportunities, network with industry contacts, and promote air/sea freight, transportation, and customs brokerage solutions.

Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential to build lasting client relationships. The role requires a diploma or degree in business/logistics.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
• Experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, transportation or supply chain services is advantageous.
• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within freight forwarding and logistics.
• Prospect for potential customers through cold calling, networking and referrals.
• Promote air freight, sea freight, transportation, customs brokerage and project cargo solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand customers' shipping requirements and recommend end-to-end logistics solutions.
• Prepare quotations and proposals, and convert opportunities into business.
