The company has expertise across Southeast Asia while supporting shipments from Singapore to destinations worldwide.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within freight forwarding, logistics and related sectors.
• Prospect for potential customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, market research and industry contacts.
• Promote the company's air freight, sea freight, transportation, customs brokerage and project cargo solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand customers' shipping requirements and recommend suitable end-to-end logistics solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial presentations, and follow up closely to convert opportunities into business.
• Negotiate rates and commercial terms while maintaining appropriate margins and service standards.
• Work closely with operations and pricing teams to ensure competitive quotations and smooth execution of shipments.
• Develop existing accounts by identifying opportunities for additional services and increasing customer spend.
• Monitor market developments, competitors and customer requirements to identify potential business opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular updates on prospects, quotations and customer activities.
• Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• Candidates with experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, transportation or supply chain services will have an advantage.
• Good understanding of sea freight and/or air freight solutions would be beneficial.
• Strong business development mindset with the confidence to approach and develop new customers.
• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Customer-focused with the ability to build long-term business relationships.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented and comfortable working toward sales targets.
• Able to work independently while collaborating closely with operations and internal stakeholders.
