Job summary

Antares Management Services in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its freight forwarding portfolio across Singapore and regional markets. You will win new business while growing existing accounts, managing the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to negotiation, and tailoring solutions with operations teams.

This role requires 5+ years in freight forwarding or logistics sales, strong communication, and a proven track record of delivering profitable growth in air

Qualifications

• 5+ years in freight forwarding or logistics sales or account management.
• Strong track record in acquiring new customers and growing existing accounts.
• Good knowledge of air and sea freight.
• Experience across Singapore and Asian markets is preferred.
• Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage accounts and meet targets independently.
• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or International Trade.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing client accounts, building long-term relationships.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities in Singapore and regional markets.
• Own the sales pipeline from prospecting and proposals through to negotiation and conversion.
• Understand customers’ shipping requirements and recommend freight solutions.
• Collaborate with operations and pricing to deliver viable solutions.
• Develop business across Asian trade lanes with regional customers and partners.
• Prepare quotations and presentations and lead customer discussions.
• Develop accounts post-onboarding to drive retention and growth.
