Job summary

MITSUI-SOKO (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a Freight and Forwarding Assistant to support end-to-end logistics operations. You will coordinate shipping documents, prepare HBL/MBL, and monitor vessel movements while liaising with transport and warehouse teams to ensure smooth container stuffing and timely billing.

The role requires basic NVO operation knowledge, and candidates with 1 year of logistics experience, strong coordination, and willingness to learn will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least an O level/Professional Certificate/NiTEC.
• Computer literate.
• Preferably with some basic understanding of NVO operation and documentation.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in Warehouse/Logistic industry is preferred.
• Initiative and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently.
• Attentive to details and good coordination skills.
• Willing to work in Pioneer area.
• Able to commit to overtime as and when required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the shipping documents and instructions from customers.
• Prepare HBL & MBL.
• Monitor vessel movement and finalize release of HBL to customer.
• Send pre-alert documents to destination office.
• Coordinate with transport contractors to pick up empty containers.
• Coordinate with warehouse for stuffing of containers.
• Verify contractor invoices and bill customers.
• Handle other routine shipment coordination and documentation tasks.

Job Description

• Coordinate the shipping documents and instruction from customer

• Sending pre-alert documents to destination office
• Coordinate with transport contractor to pick up empty container
