Job summary

TALENT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Shipping / Logistics Coordinator Assistant to handle import and export shipments, prepare documents, and coordinate bookings and deliveries in a busy Singapore operation.

This entry‑level role offers training, Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm, and exposure to TradeNet/TradeWeb documentation and invoicing processes.

Candidates with a GCE O‑Level or equivalent and MS Office proficiency are welcome; shipping knowledge is a plus, but training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of shipping/import-export processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel emphasized.
• Willingness to learn TradeNet/TradeWeb and shipping docs.

Responsibilities

• Handle import and export shipments via sea and air.
• Prepare shipping documents, invoices, permits, cargo insurance and customs docs.
• Coordinate container bookings, trucking, deliveries and transportation arrangements.
• Monitor vessel schedules and shipment status to ensure timely documentation.
• Prepare and submit shipping docs including VGM, Bills of Lading and loading confirmations.
• Submit relevant shipping docs for banking transactions (D/P, D/A, L/C).
• Maintain accurate shipping records and perform other logistics/administrative duties.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle import and export shipments via sea and air.
• Prepare shipping documents, invoices, permits, cargo insurance and customs documents.
• Coordinate container bookings, trucking, local deliveries and transportation arrangements.
• Monitor vessel schedules and shipment status to ensure timely documentation.
• Prepare and submit shipping documents including VGM, Bills of Lading (BL) and loading confirmations.
• Apply for permits and Certificates of Origin through TradeNet and TradeWeb.
• Coordinate with customers, overseas counterparts, shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters and warehouses.
• Handle transshipment, LCL shipments and container clearance.
• Verify shipping line charges and contractor invoices.
• Submit relevant shipping documents for banking transactions, including D/P, D/A and L/C.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and perform other logistics/administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent.
• Prior experience in shipping, logistics, import/export or freight operations is an advantage.
• Candidates without relevant experience are welcome to apply; training will be provided.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of TradeNet, TradeWeb and shipping documentation is an advantage.
