About the role

As a Freight Customer Service Executive with CGR Logistics Pte. Ltd., you will be responsible for providing high‑quality customer service and support to our freight forwarding clients. This full‑time role is based in the East Region and will involve handling customer inquiries, coordinating freight shipments, and ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods.

What you'll be doing
  1. Responding to customer inquiries and providing solutions in a timely and professional manner
  2. Coordinating the shipment of freight, including booking transportation, tracking shipments, and providing updates to customers
  3. Coordinate trucking and unstuffing of containers, and our own delivery fleet
  4. Handling customer complaints and resolving issues to maintain strong client relationships
  5. Collaborating with the wider logistics team to ensure seamless freight forwarding operations
  6. Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to freight shipments
  7. Identifying opportunities to improve customer service and operational efficiency
What we're looking for
  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service or freight forwarding role
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers and internal teams
  3. Proficiency in logistics and freight forwarding processes, including knowledge of shipping documentation and regulations
  4. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues
  5. Familiarity with freight management software and digital tools
  6. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
