Job summary

JMC Talent Search Pte Ltd is seeking a Front-of-House/Catering Assistant to support front-line operations in a foodservice setting. You will ensure cleanliness, accurate displays, and prompt service at meal times, while upholding hygiene standards and company policies.

You will participate in weekly service meetings, handle customer feedback, and maintain a professional appearance. Training will be provided for standard operating procedures and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• F&B experience is an advantage, but not required.
• Strong customer service mindset with a welcoming attitude.

Responsibilities

• Plan menu items, garnishing, counter temperature, displays, and price tags 15 minutes before meals.
• Keep food counters and displays clean, neat, and tidy.
• Serve customers promptly and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, counters, and equipment around counters.
• Ensure meals are prepared and dished out according to hygiene and safety regulations.
• Serve food in approved portions to customers during meal times.
• Attend weekly service meetings to improve service level.
• Address customer feedback and report actions to the Unit Manager after each meal.
• Ensure safe operation of cleaning equipment and report faults.
• Wear provided uniform and maintain a neat, professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Catering Assistant.

Ensure the smooth operations required at the front line operations in foodservice/counter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all of the following: Menu planned, Foodgarnishing, Counter temperature, Food displays, Serving gears, Merchandisingposters, and Price tags are ready 15 minutes before meals time.
• Ensure that all food counters and displays area are clean,neat and tidy at all times.
• Ensure that all customers are served promptly and duly.
• Ensure that all areas around food counters are clean andspotless including floors, walls, counters and equipment.
• Ensure that food served during meal times are prepared anddished out according to the hygiene and safety regulations required bycorporate standards and governmental regulations.
• Serve food in the assigned plates or holding receptaclesin the portions approved by the client to customers during meal times.
• Attend weekly service meetings to improve and enhanceservice level.
• Handle customers' feedback duly and ensure that allactions taken are reported to the Unit Manager after each meal.
• Ensure the safe operation of all cleaning equipment andreport to the management of any faulty equipment.
• Responsible to wear the uniform that is provided and tomaintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
• Perform all other duties as and when assigned by SeniorCatering Assistant.
