A facilities management company in Singapore is looking for a candidate to oversee maintenance operations, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and lead the maintenance team. Plan, manage, and monitor preventive maintenance programmes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and technical specifications.
Maintain a comprehensive master schedule for equipment, systems maintenance, and replacement works.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure building integrity, safety, and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement building and equipment upgrade plans aligned with operational and business needs.
Ensure smooth day-to-day building operations by responding promptly to emergencies with minimal disruption.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and relevant government authorities on maintenance matters, including licensing and renewal of major equipment and installations.
Supervise and verify contractor works to ensure compliance with specifications, statutory requirements, and safety standards.
Prepare, review, and manage the annual maintenance budget, ensuring cost efficiency and value-for-money procurement.
Optimize maintenance costs through energy conservation initiatives and effective cost-control measures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Lead, supervise, and motivate the maintenance team to enhance productivity and service excellence.
Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team to meet operational and organizational objectives.
Establish and uphold high standards of workmanship, discipline, and professional conduct.
Conduct staff training, cross-training, and onboarding programmes for new hires.
Oversee performance management processes, including proper documentation and record-keeping.
Plan and manage departmental manpower requirements to support operational needs.
Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency.
Develop, implement, and review fire emergency response plans and procedures.
Conduct routine fire safety inspections and proactively address potential fire hazards.
Oversee the maintenance and operational readiness of all fire protection systems.
Educate staff, tenants, and occupants on fire safety awareness and best practices.
Train staff and tenants in fire‑fighting, emergency response, and evacuation procedures.
Organize, supervise, and evaluate fire drills and evacuation exercises.
Supervise Fire Command Centre operations to ensure readiness and compliance.
Prepare and submit annual fire safety reports to management.
Ensure full compliance with fire safety regulations and requirements set by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
