Summary

In this role, you will oversee Terminal Operation costs—handling and extra costs—ensuring that financial records are posted correctly and SAM accruals are accurately captured.

Main responsibilities

• Monitor and manage Terminal handling related activities and any additional or quick operational costs.
• Ensure timely and accurate generation of accruals to support monthly financial closing.
• Liaise with GBSI/GBSCQ and the Cost control team to validate cost accuracy and proper documentation.
• Identify cost variances or discrepancies and take corrective actions as needed.

Minimum requirements

• Diploma or少年 Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in finance or operations costing within the container shipping industry.
• Possess a basic understanding of accrual accounting concepts.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, basic formulas).
• Experience with cost tracking and variance analysis.
