Job summary

A leading electronics company in Singapore is seeking a professional to support financial planning and management accounting, along with ESG reporting activities. The ideal candidate will collect, analyze, and interpret financial data, update quarterly performance reports, and manage compliance of vendor account processes. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Job description

The identified professional will support the collation and management of data related to financial planning & management accounting, data analysis, and market sensing. The role supports management decision-making by combining internal financial and operational insights with external market intelligence. The incumbent will also be involved in supporting ESG reporting related activities for the Company.

Responsibilities
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret financial data related to the company’s overall operations
  • Consolidate organizational/executive performance indicators (sales, overhead, inventory, AR, CEO missions)
  • Update and report quarterly subsidiary performance report to HQ
  • Consolidate and analyse monthly financial pending items(AR,AP)
  • Collect and report the key accounting adjustment items (claims, return accruals and etc)
  • Monitor and report the compliance of vendor account registration and modification process
  • Support R&D department cost management and reporting
  • Monitor and compile daily semiconductor/electronics industry news across regional markets
  • Investigate incentives or guardrail policies for each country related to the semiconductor industry and the beneficiary companies
  • Collect and disseminate the regional macroeconomic indicators based on the reports published by major institutions (IMF, WB, OECD and etc)
  • Collect, consolidate and report performance result of major clients and competitors
  • Prepare and consolidate monthly and annual expense plans
  • Manage NESG closing and approval process operation
  • Identify and manage ESG risks and opportunities to ensure compliance and mitigate potential impacts
  • Renew REC(Renewable Energy Certification) contract and support procurement of REC
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Strategy / Environmental Science / Social Science, or related field.
  • At least 3 years relevant experience.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
Skills & Competencies required for the Role
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial and industry data
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization tools
  • Prior experience with SAP would be highly preferable
  • Knowledge of semiconductor/electronics industry trends is plus
