Financial Executive (Budget & Control)

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for accurate and timely processing of budget transactions such as budget transfers, top-ups, and adjustments etc.
  • Assist in responding to budget-related queries and provide support to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update master data in SAP, including fund centers and commitment items.
  • Support the creation and management of internal orders for cost tracking.
  • Assist in the annual business planning cycle including form preparation, scheduling review sessions, tracking submissions and reviewing of inputs for accuracy.
  • Update and distribute monthly budget utilization reports and dashboards.
  • Manage user access rights for financial dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring data security and appropriate access levels.
  • Support monthly and year-end financial closing activities, including internal cost postings and revenue adjustments, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Track and report on grant utilisation, ensuring compliance and provide accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial and administrative tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Accountancy/ Finance/ Business Administration or any related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is an advantage.
  • Familiar with financial systems such as SAP is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Basic understanding of budgeting and financial principles.
  • Meticulous and strong organisational skills.
