What the role is:

The incumbent's job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

What you will be working on:
  • Manage and work closely with outsourced agent for billing and collection, in particular on arrears management matters and adoption of digital and automation solutions to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Perform analysis of utilities customers billing and arrears and develop effective measures to mitigate customer bad debt and arrears
  • Prepare monthly aging dashboards and executive reports on variances and collection trends
  • Contribute to cash flow forecasting with inputs on collection projections
  • Review journal vouchers for transactions relating to billing and collection, and ensure compliance with SB-FRS
  • Monthly review of bank reconciliations
  • Manage the framework for financial control and coordinate the update of the Financial Manual
  • Support procurement activities undertaken by the team
  • Take on ad-hoc duties relevant to department needs
What we are looking for:
  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Self-driven, detailed-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Strong adherence to deadlines
  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office and data visualisation tools
  • Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for subsequent contract renewal of a further 1-year.
