Job summary

A financial institution in Singapore is seeking a candidate for regulatory compliance and financial management roles, requiring a Master's or Bachelor's in Banking & Finance. The ideal candidate shall have 8-10 years of related experience and a strong understanding of MAS regulatory requirements. Responsibilities will include daily computation and submission of regulatory returns, preparation of financial statements, and other financial analyses. A good knowledge of IFRS and proficiency in Excel are essential.

Job description

Statutory and regulatory compliance and reporting

• Daily computation and monitoring of regulatory ratios, including MCB, AMR and MLA.
• Assist the department and Head Office team for compilation and checking for MAS regulatory returns.
• Assist HO team with SBP reporting.
• Ensure timely submission of all regulatory returns.
• Prepare schedules and accounting entries in accordance with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Pakistan GAAP.
• Assist HOD with managing internal and external audits.
• Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements.

Financial Management & processing expense payment

• Perform annual vendor assessment.
• Prepare workings and Journal Entries such as FRS109 provision, FX swaps valuation, year-end adjustments.
• Process payment and prepare Journal Entries.
• Prepare daily management reports and prepare MIS information including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, product and customer profitability information.
• Prepare HO reporting.

Minimum qualifications:

• Master / Bachelor in Banking & Finance.

Minimum experience and knowledge:

• 8-10 years related experience.
• Good understanding of MAS regulatory requirements including Notice 640 and MAS649, MAS757, MAS758.
• Good knowledge of IFRS.
• Proficient in Excel.
