Job description

We are looking for a hands-on Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be at the front line of supporting our customers — installing and servicing critical water monitoring systems and CCTV surveillance solutions at construction sites, as well as maintaining water analytical instruments in industrial plants. If you enjoy problem-solving, working outdoors, and taking ownership of your work, this role will be a strong fit.

Responsibilities
  • Install, test, and commission water monitoring and CCTV surveillance systems at construction sites

  • Perform on-site and in-house service, maintenance, and calibration of water analytical instruments

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system and instrument issues to ensure minimal downtime for customers

  • Prepare clear and accurate service and calibration reports

  • Test and evaluate the viability of new products

  • Provide technical support to customers and the sales team when required

Requirements
  • NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent), OR at least 2 years of relevant technical experience

  • Class 3 driving licence (must indicate in resume)

  • Class 2B licence is an advantage (mileage claimable if own motorbike is used for jobs)

  • Comfortable working outdoors at construction sites, drains, and industrial plants

  • Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in technical troubleshooting

  • Effective communication skills — able to coordinate with colleagues and explain issues clearly to customers

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Please indicate current and expected salary in your application

Benefits
  • 5-day work week (Mon – Fri, 8.30 am – 5.30 pm)

  • Performance bonuses and salary increments for good performers

  • Mobile phone allowance provided

  • Opportunities to gain exposure to other technical roles within the company

Why This Role Matters

Every system you install and every instrument you service ensures our customers’ projects and processes run smoothly. You’ll often be the one they depend on to diagnose, resolve, and prevent issues that could disrupt their operations. This makes your role vital not just to our customers’ success, but also to how we are recognised as a trusted service partner in the industry.
