We are backed by global investors, including Greenwillow Capital, BEENEXT, 500 Global, AngelList, SEEDS (SG Growth Capital), XA Network, Cloud Capital, Lighthouse Canton, and others, with an active customer footprint in 7 countries.

Our goal is to serve one million EVs within the next 5 years and, as a company, touch a billion lives with technology.

Job Overview

We’re looking for a hands‑on Field Application Engineer with a Polytechnic Diploma who loves building, testing, fixing, and making things work — both in the lab and out in the field. You’ll be the bridge between our product team and real‑world deployments: flashing firmware using standard tools, installing devices in vehicles, running tests, and helping keep our hardware rock‑solid for customers.

This role is ideal for a Diploma/Degree holder in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field who enjoys practical work, learning on the job, and growing into a specialist in EV and telematics systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Go on site visits to install, deploy, test, and support our hardware in real vehicle environments.

  • Flash firmware and perform updates on devices using standard tools and SOPs; assist in testing new firmware releases and elevate complex issues to the engineering team.

  • Perform initial checks on faulty or returned units, carry out basic repairs or part replacements, and work with engineers to diagnose root causes.

  • Run quality control (QC) checks on devices before shipping to ensure every unit leaving our lab is reliable.

  • Handle hardware logistics — packing, labelling, and tracking devices being shipped to customers and partners.

  • Use test equipment (e.g., multimeter, power supply, basic scopes) to verify wiring, power, and signal integrity according to checklists.

  • Record test results, photos, and observations from field deployments and share them with the product and software teams to help improve reliability.

  • Follow safety procedures and documentation standards when working on vehicles and electrical systems.

You’re a Good Fit If You
  • Hold a Polytechnic Diploma/Engineering Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Are comfortable working with electronics, cables, connectors, and test equipment (e.g., multimeter, power supply), and are keen to learn new tools such as oscilloscopes and firmware flashing utilities.

  • Have a basic understanding of vehicle electrical systems or embedded/IoT hardware; prior exposure to CANbus, telematics, or automotive electronics is a plus (training will be provided).

  • Don’t mind getting your hands dirty — from soldering a connector to mounting a device in a tight space inside a vehicle.

  • Can juggle lab testing and field visits without losing track of details or checklists.

  • Enjoy working in a small, fast‑moving team where your work has a direct and visible impact.

  • Are willing and able to travel for on‑site work within Singapore and occasionally in the region, when required.

Why You’ll Love Working Here
  • You’ll work on cutting‑edge vehicle technology that is actively deployed in real fleets.

  • You’ll get strong hands‑on exposure to EVs, telematics, IoT hardware, and diagnostics.

  • You’ll have a real voice in how our hardware is built, tested, and shipped, and see your suggestions implemented quickly.

  • Small team, big ownership — your work directly affects product quality and customer success.

  • Clear growth path into senior Field Application roles, hardware engineering, or technical operations as you gain experience.

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum Qualification: Polytechnic Diploma (or equivalent) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience: 0–3 years of relevant experience in electronics, field service, automotive, or telematics is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong hands‑on projects are welcome to apply.

  • Eligibility: We are looking to hire a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident for this role, due to operational requirements.

How to Apply
