Job description

We are seeking a qualified candidate to carry out in-house preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for all facilities, building, and services systems.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out in-house preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for all facilities, building, and services systems.
• Attend to day-to-day maintenance operations for all facilities, building, and services systems and maintain proper records of maintenance checklists and documentations.
• Liaise and coordinate with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repair in order to keep all the above systems in operational state.
• Perform standby / duty to attend to system fault during or after office hours, weekends, and public holidays when needed.
• Minimize all facilities, building, and services downtime during operation.
• Log, update, and maintain all facilities, building, and services spare parts, tools, and instruments.
• Work under sub-zero environment and have no phobia of heights.
• Inform immediate superiors/duty personnel for all faults/alarms/abnormalities for all systems.
• Learn and maintain any other new/additional systems not mentioned above as assigned by the Head of Department.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Job Requirements:

• Nitec/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in the manufacturing industry
• Hands-on and strong technical competencies in equipment maintenance
• Must be physically fit, not color blind, and have no height phobia
• Ability to work under pressure and tight schedules
• Proficiency in both English & Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates)
• Willingness to perform shift work, 5 days workweek
