Job summary

A facilities management company in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Specialist for a 1-year contract. The role involves coordinating activities, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have a diploma in Facility Management and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Hands-on experience with external parties is preferred, along with strong communication skills. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency within a large-scale manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in operations or Facility Management.
  • Hands-on experience interfacing between departments and external parties.
  • Valid FSM certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support coordination of center’s activities/events.
  • Assist in planning and managing resources.
  • Provide help in the asset disposal process.
  • Coordinate with vendors for maintenance of installations.
  • Ensure safe execution of work and perform risk assessments.
  • Follow up on rectification work related to Facilities.

Job description
Facilities Specialist (1 Year Contract)
Responsibilities:
  • Support Ops-related coordination of center’s activities/events in accordance with policies and procedures. Develop, implement and/or maintenance of R&D site’s standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in planning and managing resources (including facilities) and processes to ensure smooth running of ANRD operations.
  • Provide assistance in the asset disposal process.
  • Coordinate with outsourced vendors to facilitate routine checks and scheduled preventive maintenance of key installations such as UPS, electrical panels etc.
  • Ensure all work being executed in a safe manner and all relevant risk assessment are performed.
  • Follow upon all relevant rectification work related to issues related to Facilities.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate clearly with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional team.
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in an operation and/or Facility Management capacity in a large-scale manufacturing operation or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Hands-on experience in interfacing between functional departments and external parties / government bodies
  • Possess a valid FSM certificate preferred
Education:
  • Min Diploma in Facility Management/Building Services, Property, Estate Management with 3 years of relevant experience in facilities management operations.
