About the Role

We are looking for a practical, reliable, and hands‑on Facilities Officer to ensure our buildings are safe, well‑maintained, and ready to support daily operations. You’ll enjoy variety in your work, from inspecting air‑conditioning and plumbing systems, coordinating service contractors, to setting up AV equipment for events. You’ll also assist with minor repairs, building touch‑ups, and logistics support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, air‑conditioning, plumbing, fire protection systems, and AV equipment.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance, including replacing light tubes, switches, taps, valves, locks, and sanitary fixtures.
  • Carry out basic building repairs such as painting, plastering, patching partitions, and simple cement works.
  • Handle basic carpentry and ironmongery tasks, including fabricating shelves, fixing panels, and replacing door hardware.
  • Supervise and coordinate service contractors (cleaning, landscaping, pest control, repair vendors) to ensure safe and quality work.
  • Prepare, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment for events and assist with event support and logistics.
  • Manage administrative tasks like recording utility readings, tracking inventories, handling maintenance requests, and following up on work orders.
  • Participate in physical site duties, including moving furniture/equipment, site walkabouts, and supporting office or accommodation moves.
Requirements
  • Hands‑on experience in facilities maintenance and minor repair works.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and ability to ensure contractors comply.
  • Practical skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general building maintenance.
  • Able to handle hands‑on duties, including moving equipment, site walkabouts, and supporting office or accommodation moves.
  • Good communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
What We Offer
  • Be part of a purpose‑driven organisation where your work makes a real impact.
  • Gain hands‑on experience across various facilities management functions.
  • On‑the‑job learning, mentorship, and opportunities across different AETOS sites.
  • Collaborative work environment that values initiative, ownership, and teamwork.
  • Continuous learning and career development pathways in facilities management and operations.
