A healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a proactive individual to coordinate nursing education and professional development. The successful candidate will manage various educational programs and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance nursing practices. A Bachelor's degree in business administration and two years of experience in related fields are required. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential, along with organizational and communication skills.
We are seeking a proactive and organized professional to coordinate and support nursing education and professional development, as well as clinical rotation, nursing research, and evidence-based quality improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in achieving departmental and organizational objectives while supporting the execution of nursing events and programs. Liaise with the Ministry of Health Holdings (MOHH) annually for the “Return to Nursing” program, which requires significant coordination and time.
Prepare and submit the annual American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) report and manage payment and documentation for ANCC accreditation once every four years.
Manage nursing education and professional development programmes.
Plan and administer the yearly budget for nursing education and professional development activities.
Coordinate the scholarship annual nursing process, including application management, selection, and award distribution.
Coordinate clinical rotational programme schedules in collaboration with various stakeholders.
Maintain a comprehensive database to track and support staff’s rotation to ensure visibility of rotation status, progress, and timelines.
Gather and organise research topics and issues, and coordinate with relevant academic and professional partners to facilitate suitable project assignments.
Support the project lead in translating research findings and evidence into nursing education and clinical practice.
Assist in documenting and disseminating research outcomes and innovative practices through internal platforms, presentations, or publications.
Maintain and update a database to track and monitor research and evidence-based quality improvement outcomes, ensuring accurate records and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Support the planning and organisation of seminars, workshops, and professional development events, including communication with various stakeholders.
Streamline and optimise administrative workflows using Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, OneDrive) to enhance departmental efficiency and collaboration.
Undertake any additional responsibilities or duties as negotiated with leadership
Hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, or equivalent
Demonstrate at least 2 years of professional experience in programme administration, research coordination, or quality improvement. Training will be provided for those without experience
Demonstrate advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Display strong IT aptitude with the ability to adapt to new software and technologies quickly
Apply organisational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
Communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to achieve shared goals
