The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and 2–5 years of relevant experience. Lead and manage a team of officers in implementing distribution cables and equipment renewal projects
Plan and execute distribution renewal projects according to approved budget
Formulate and review work procedures and practices
Calling of tender and quotation
Purchase of work equipment and tools
Lead and participate in study team, task force or committee
Attend to customers’ enquires and feedback
Perform site management and supervise contractors' work
Manage term contracts and monitor outstanding claim submission
Approve works order issued to contractors, verifies claims submitted by contractors and certifies claims for work done
Perform standby duty after office hours
Train and guide subordinates in project implementation
Prepare contingency plans and performs standby duty for special events
Carry out HT switching for the replacement of equipment and cables including switching for the testing of protective relays
Participate in productivity initiatives, validate and perform value stream mapping for identified projects
Plan operations policy and strategies
Assist in budget preparation for the section
Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board Singapore
At least 2 – 5 years of relevant experience
Good oral and written communication skills
A team player with a positive working attitude and the ability to handle tight deadlines
