Job summary

Ocean Network Express (ONE) invites an Executive, Customer Service Booking (Shipping) to join our Singapore team. You will manage booking requests, liaise with customers on shipment dates and special requirements, and coordinate with local and overseas teams to ensure smooth operations.

You should have a Diploma in Maritime Studies, Logistics or shipping-related disciplines, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in maritime studies, logistics or shipping disciplines preferred.
• Experience in analytics or Live Chat is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented and resilient.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of shipping agency roles is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers on shipment dates and special requirements.
• Process booking acknowledgements within lead-time.
• Monitor and follow-up on special cargo.
• Coordinate with Marketing for space control.
• Monitor detention and payment, terminal transmissions.

Job description

We are seeking an Executive, Customer Service Booking (Shipping) to manage booking requests and coordinate shipments. You will liaise with customers, process bookings, monitor cargo movements, and work with internal and overseas teams to ensure smooth operations.

Job Responsibilities

• To liaise with customers on shipments dates and any special requirements pertaining to customers' orders fulfilment.
• To process booking acknowledgement within lead-time.
• To monitor and follow-up on special cargo.
• To liaise with the Marketing team for space control.
• To monitor detention and payment, terminal transmissions etc.
• To coordinate with local and overseas stakeholders.
• To perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Candidates who possess at least a Diploma in Maritime Studies, Logistics or Shipping-related disciplines are preferred.
• Experience in analytics or Live Chat functions will be an added advantage.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under stress and fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented and resilient.
• Candidates with at least one year of relevant working experience have an added advantage.
• Knowledge in a similar role in shipping agency will be preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office skills as well as Google Suite applications.
