Summary of Job
The Executive supports the Director (Community Partnerships) in the day-to-day coordination of fundraising initiatives, events, and marketing activities. He/she assists with donor servicing, including handling donor matters, managing follow-ups, and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner. The role also includes providing logistical and administrative support for fundraising events and selected external engagements, ensuring smooth execution and positive stakeholder experience.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Assist in identifying fundraising opportunities and support relationship-building efforts with donors and partners.
- Help maintain existing donor relationships by providing timely follow-up and stewardship.
- Support a range of giving programmes (e.g., recurring gifts, online donations, grant applications, events) through coordination, documentation, and basic administrative tasks.
- Provide operational support to ensure fundraising campaigns and activities are delivered smoothly and according to established processes.
- Work with the Volunteer Manager to coordinate volunteer involvement for fundraising and event activities.
- Provide clear instructions and on-ground support to volunteers during events and logistical setup.
- Support event execution and external engagements as directed, ensuring alignment with Make-A-Wish Singapore’s mission and branding guidelines.
- Maintain accurate administrative records, including budgets, revenue tracking, proposals, contact databases, and event documentation.
- Ensure assigned tasks comply with charity governance requirements and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Experience
- At least one to two years of experience in fundraising / event management.
- Experience in local markets (e.g. Singapore) and social service sector preferred.
Qualifications
- Diploma holder in any related discipline.

Other Details
Official Working hours
8:30am – 5:30pm / 9:00am – 6:00pm
Candidate may be required to work on weekends for events that fall outside weekdays. Off-in-lieu will be provided.
