Job Description
  • Prepare and provide responses for tender bidding, submission of relevant costs spreadsheets and profitability analysis.
  • Managing contractual claims to protect commercial interest.
  • Prepare requests for proposals for distribution to vendors.
  • Analyze all requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that contracts are executed in accordance with guidelines.
  • Analyze a contract’s risk to the business.
  • Visit client sites and meet with business partners.
  • Communicate contract implementation to team members and other internal stakeholders.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations and manage all changes and addendums to existing contracts.
  • Ensure that all raw material used meets the specified requirements.
  • Prepare reports on the status of contracts for the Management
  • Establish margins for overheads and profits in tender sums.
  • Drive cost planning and control.
Administrative works
  • Communicate payment regime to relevant stakeholders.
  • Attend project meetings.
  • Prepare valuations for interim payments and/or recommendation for payment to contractors, specialists and sub-contractors including recommendations for payment.
  • Measure variation of cost claims.
  • Prepare final accounts and/or relevant pricing variations.
Team Management
  • Establish good working rapport with colleagues, to improve work processes, productivity and hit rate of tenders.
  • Ensure that team members have a complete understanding of the project scope of works.
  • Conduct/participate at briefings and regular meetings.
Requirement
  • Good communication skill is needed for discussion with both internal and external members, such as the sales, designer, production, operations, subcontractor, and suppliers.
  • Familiar with the use of MS applications, such as Words, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Conflict management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Independent, positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility.
  • Prior project management experience is preferred (1-3yrs)
  • Good with numbers which will be meant for computing costing and on-site measurement.
  • Knowledge in filing system and processes
  • Proficiency Mandarin is an advantage.
