Job summary

TRINITY CONSULTING SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to drive CMDB completeness and ServiceNow discovery in complex IT environments.

You will onboard network infrastructure into ServiceNow, reinforce data quality, and collaborate with ITSM teams to map dependencies and resolve discovery issues across multiple sources.

Strong networking fundamentals and stakeholder communication are essential to succeed in this role in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in network engineering/operations with exposure to CMDB and IT service management.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB.
• Practicing experience onboarding network infrastructure into ServiceNow.
• Good understanding of CMDB concepts, including CIs, CI classes, relationships, reconciliation, identification, and data quality.
• Experience with Service Mapping and understanding of infrastructure/service dependencies.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and network management protocols.
• Experience troubleshooting network discovery and inventory/data-collection issues.
• Understanding of discovery credentials, probes, patterns, and MID Server concepts.
• Experience validating and reconciling infrastructure data across multiple sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to identifying and resolving data-quality issues.
• Experience working within IT Service Management / Enterprise Service Management environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
