Job summary

INFOSYS COMPAZ PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced ESM (ServiceNow) Delivery Engineer to lead discovery, CMDB management, and data governance for a large-scale enterprise transformation within Network Operations.

You will onboard network assets to ServiceNow, optimize discovery configurations, and collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure accurate CI relationships and service mappings across the environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, or Network Administration.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery and ServiceNow Service Mapping.
• Strong understanding of CMDB concepts, CI relationships, and configuration management practices.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale network environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute network discovery activities using ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Validate, reconcile, and maintain CI data within the CMDB.
• Onboard network devices, dependencies, and relationships into the ServiceNow platform.
• Configure and optimize discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and credentials.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced ESM (ServiceNow) Delivery Engineers to support a major Enterprise Service Management (ESM)transformation initiative within Network Operations. The successful candidates will be responsible for onboarding network infrastructure assets into the ServiceNow platform, ensuring accurate CMDB data, service mappings, and discovery processes across a large-scale enterprise network environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside Network Operations and ESM programme teams to strengthen service management capabilities through high-quality configuration and asset data.

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Discovery & CMDB Management

• Execute network discovery activities using ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Validate, reconcile, and maintain Configuration Item (CI) data within the CMDB.
• Onboard network devices, dependencies, and relationships into the ServiceNow platform.
• Configure and optimize discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and credentials.
• Troubleshoot discovery issues and resolve CMDB data quality discrepancies.

Network Operations Support

• Analyze network topology, dependencies, and infrastructure configurations.
• Support the accurate mapping of network assets and services.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to ensure data integrity and operational visibility.

Documentation & Governance

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, onboarding procedures, and CMDB standards.
• Support configuration management and data governance initiatives.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and handover to the permanent operations team.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Network Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, or Network Administration.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery and ServiceNow Service Mapping.
• Strong understanding of CMDB concepts, CI relationships, and configuration management practices.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale network environments.
