Job summary

Trinity Consulting Services in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to own discovery, CMDB onboarding, and service mapping within an ITSM/ESM context. You will design, implement, and validate network data feeds, CI relationships, and data quality controls.

The role requires 5–8 years of hands-on network engineering plus strong communication to manage stakeholders, troubleshoot discovery issues, and ensure accurate, timely updates to the ServiceNow CMDB.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years in network engineering/operations, exposure to CMDB and ITSM.
• Hands-on with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB.
• Experience onboarding network infra into ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of CMDB concepts, including CIs, CI classes, relationships, reconciliation, identification, and data quality.
• Experience with Service Mapping and understanding infrastructure/service dependencies.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, switching, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls.
• Experience troubleshooting discovery and inventory/data-collection issues.
• Understanding discovery credentials, probes, patterns, and MID Server concepts.
• Experience validating and reconciling infrastructure data across sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-quality issues.
• Experience in IT Service Management / Enterprise Service Management environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
