With our ongoing expansion, we’re excited to welcome adedicated Technical Support Engineer to grow with us.
Responsibilities:
1) Technical Proposal & Tender Management
- Prepare and submit detailed technical proposals, compliance matrices, datasheets, and tender documentation.
- Analyse project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to ensure alignment with proposed solutions.
- Perform solution engineering, including review of construction drawings and preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Collaborate with project teams and consultants to validate technical submissions against contractual and design specifications.
2) Pre-Sales Engineering & Solution Design
- Conduct site surveys, gather critical data, and perform technical evaluations for system design.
- Select optimal products/systems based on technical feasibility and client needs.
- Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
3) Testing, Commissioning & Issue Resolution
- Execute system testing, commissioning, and performance validation.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex product/system issues (hardware/software).
- Develop alternative solutions for product limitations or field failures.
4) Technical Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Generate incident analysis reports, equipment records, and maintenance documentation.
- Maintain accurate hardware/software databases and compliance trackers.
- Deliver product training to clients and internal teams.
5) Collaboration & Innovation
- Provide proactive technical updates to cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, PMO).
- Support product innovation and improvement initiatives.
- Attend project meetings and client technical reviews.
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 1-3 years in HVAC, BMS, CRAC, or building systems technical support is preferred.
- Open to fresh graduates with relevant project exposure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM tools for drawing review.
- Understanding of mechanical/electrical systems and engineering principles.
- Proactive in diagnosing technical issues and delivering solutions.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for client/stakeholder interactions.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and multitask in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to work irregular hours and travel overseas for project.
