Job Description
Our production company handles videography and photography for weddings, corporate events, commercial projects, seminars, and government assignments. We are looking for a dedicated Editor to manage post-production work and deliver polished, high-quality videos (and photos, if applicable).
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing
- Edit raw footage into clear, engaging, and coherent videos for weddings, events, commercial shoots, marketing campaigns, and government projects.
- Insert transitions, effects, subtitles, and motion graphics where required.
- Sync and clean audio, apply sound effects, and balance overall sound quality.
- Perform colour correction and colour grading to match branding or creative direction.
- Produce multiple versions of videos (short clips, highlights, reels, full-length edits).
Photo Editing (include only if applicable)
- Retouch, colour-correct, and enhance photos for albums, social media, or client deliverables.
- Ensure consistency in style, tone, and quality across entire photo sets.
Project Collaboration
- Work with directors, videographers, and photographers to understand project requirements.
- Follow production timelines and ensure all deliverables are submitted before deadlines.
- Maintain organized project files, backups, and media libraries.
Quality Control
- Ensure all outputs meet technical specifications and client brand guidelines.
- Review and refine content based on internal and client feedback.
Requirements
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic skills in After Effects, Lightroom, or Photoshop are an advantage.
- Minimum 1–2 years of editing experience, or a strong portfolio/showreel.
- Able to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.
- Creative, detail-oriented, responsible, and a good team player.
- Familiarity with event, wedding, or corporate editing styles is a bonus.
