Job summary

A construction joint venture in Singapore seeks an experienced Document Controller to manage and maintain project documentation for LTA projects. Candidates must have at least 5 years of LTA Project experience and strong skills in document management software, MS Office, and project management. The role involves verifying document receipt, filing systems maintenance, and responding to client inquiries. This position is crucial for ensuring that all documents are properly classified and archived, adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years LTA Project Working Experience.
  • Familiar with project management concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel & PowerPoint.

  • Receive, verify and acknowledge receipt of documents as per control procedure.
  • Manage and control all interface documentation and respond to client requests.
  • Maintain proper filing systems and implement project document management.

Job description
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receive, verify and acknowledge receipt of the documents in accordance with agreed document control procedure
  • Register the drawings received from Client and others.
  • Issue documents to Classification Societies and Owners for approval
  • Issue documents with transmittal to Operations and other departments
  • File the drawings and documents
  • Submission of Design Acceptance Request via LTA EPIC System (Online DAR Portal) in accordance with project document formats and requirements.
  • Manage and control all interface documentation and prepare updates and respond to client’s request for information about project status
  • Create, issue and progress documents transmittal to clients, sub-con and consultants.
  • Maintain proper filing systems according to ISO Standard and implement project document management system and process in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure proper document classifications, sorting, filing and archiving and manage within strict confidentiality.
  • Perform files back-up to ensure proper storage and archiving of projects records.
  • Assist Clients and walk in visitors
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls for ALL department
Requirements:
  1. At least 5 years LTA Project Working Experience
  2. Familiar with project management
  3. Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel & Power Point
  4. Knowledge of Document Management
  5. Proficient typing and editing skills, Data organization skills
  6. Basic understanding of construction documents
