Overview

Banking industry. Permanent headcount, based in Singapore. Candidates must have real estate experience with a commercial bank, investment bank and/or real estate fund.

Responsibilities

• Drive the growth of the real estate financing business across the Asia Pacific region, including supporting the design and rollout of new financing solutions
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing the institution’s capital efficiency and overall portfolio strategy
• Build new client relationships to expand the platform’s real estate lending presence
• Maintain and deepen existing client relationships to uncover further lending and investment opportunities
• Lead full transaction execution—from term sheet discussions to structuring, credit assessment, documentation, and closing
• Prepare and oversee credit submissions, financial projections, and real estate investment analyses
• Coordinate closely with internal functions such as credit, risk, legal, compliance, and operations to ensure smooth deal processes
• Monitor the regional real estate loan portfolio proactively, including identifying higher‑risk exposures and working with relevant teams on remediation strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline
• 12–15 years of relevant experience in banking or real estate industry
• Proven track record in managing end‑to‑end real estate financing or investment transactions
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling, credit analysis, and preparing investment or credit memos
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deliver under tight timelines
• Strong team player who can work independently while also guiding and mentoring junior team members
• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
