Overview
We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Digitalization Engineer to join our team in delivering advanced digital transformation projects for the manufacturing and process industries. This role bridges the gap between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT), focusing on integrating data from shop-floor systems into analytics platforms, dashboards, and business applications. This position is perfect for graduates or early-career professionals passionate about technology, data visualization, and customer experience.
Customer Engagement & Communication
Act as the primary customer liaison during agile sprints, facilitating daily stand-ups and sprint reviews
Translate technical concepts into business language that resonates with stakeholders at all levels
Gather and document customer requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions and coordinate feedback loops
Quality Assurance & Validation
Perform UI/UX testing on our wide range of apps across dashboards, reports and visualization tools
Validate data flow between systems and reporting platforms
Document and track issues, bugs and enhancement requests in project management tools
Ensure deliverables meet customer specifications and industry standards
Project Support & Documentation
Create and maintain user guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures
Support the configuration of dashboards, graphics and control charts
Assist in validating data migration and system integration testing
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
Business Analysis & Improvement
Analyze customer workflows to identify optimization opportunities
Support change management initiatives and user adoption strategies
Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies
Present project updates and demos to stakeholders
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
0-2 years of experience (internships and academic projects welcome)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Basic understanding of databases and data visualization concepts
Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
Fluent in the English language.
Flexibility to support team members and customers during off-hours when necessary.
Willingness to learn and travel occasionally within the ASEAN, Western Europe & North America regions.
Preferred
Exposure to SCADA systems (Ignition, Wonderware InTouch, Siemens WinCC, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or similar)
Familiarity with SQL queries and basic data analysis
Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, MS Project)
Knowledge of manufacturing processes or Industry 4.0 concepts
Understanding of lean, six-sigma, statistical process control (SPC) principles
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
Certification or coursework in Agile/Scrum methodologies
