Job summary

ALPHAEUS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer in Singapore to provide first-line IT support, addressing a range of issues and ensuring timely resolutions to meet SLA targets.

The ideal candidate has an ITE/diploma and at least 1 year in desktop support, with working knowledge of Windows 10 and Office 365, plus relevant certifications. Remote support experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• ITE/diploma holder with at least 1 year of desktop support experience.
• Experience with Windows 10 and Office 365.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line desktop support to users and resolve end-user issues promptly.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and resolve help requests; escalate when needed to meet SLA.
• Perform imaging/re-imaging of workstations.
• Maintain asset inventories.
• Escalate technical issues to 3rd party vendors or resolver groups.
• Update incident records and maintain documentation.
• Create and update work instructions; document standards and procedures.
• Handle ad hoc tasks relevant to the role.
